Blackout Art Society proudly presents Lip Service — a bold, sex-positive, musical physical comedy featuring two larger-than-life vulva alter-egos navigating self-acceptance, empowerment, and doing-it-all.
Praised for its physical comedy, energetic song and dance, and campy humour, Lip Service uses laughter and spectacle to spark empowerment, open conversation, and meaningful engagement with sexual-health themes. This is Vancouver live theatre at its most courageous and joyful.

Blackout Art Society is a Vancouver-based non-profit theatre company dedicated to supporting immigrant and refugee artists. Since 2017, we have produced bilingual Persian/English work and run the annual STAND Festival — a platform where immigrant voices take centre stage.
