Audition call for dancers

Blackout Arts Society is casting two dance artists (male and female, ages 18 to 30) to perform live physical theatre in our City of Tales tour.
Interpreters must be comfortable with contemporary dance methodologies, floor work, and character/animal work as part of an expressive physical performance to accompany a pre-recorded Persian play.
Audition Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Audition Time: 2 PM — 5 PM (3-hour duration)
Location: Selected artists will be invited to the audition
Audition Requirements:
Please note that the selection process requires being present and available for three hours of the audition. During this time, dancers will be rigorously assessed and selected.
Availability Requirements:
August 15 to August 28, 2026, Part-time rehearsals, approximately 15 hours per week.
